Mission Statement

The IHM Family Literacy Program, an educational ministry of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, is committed to developing strong healthy family units and to breaking the cycle of illiteracy that exists within many families by enhancing the quality of communication among family members and promoting harmony within family structures by empowering parents and children to read and to grow together.

Courses for three-five year-olds and mothers are sponsored by the IHM Family Literacy Center, an educational outreach of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Classes include English, Motheread, parenting and computer for mothers with a pre-school program for children. These classes run simultaneously.

Certified teachers with many years of experience conduct all classes.
